Life is in yet another transition. When I started this blog, we'd become involved in the start of a mini-farm on 20 acres. Between garden, greenhouse, goats, rabbits, chickens, building structures, needing to actually move onto the place, and work, life was somewhere beyond merely busy.... well, that's all gone, and we're into yet another transition. I think, hope, pray, that this one is the start of life being much better than before.
Cuckoo Marans lay dark Mahogany eggs. They're known in England, barely known here, although I've seen pictures of them in a Seattle newspaper blog. There are chicken breeders in the US who have 4 different varieties of the Marans.
